Dedicated to the memory of Linda Stevenson

Thank you for taking the time to view our tribute page and making any donations.

This charity is very close to our hearts after Linda fought the disease since she was 35. A consultant once told Linda, Rheumatoid Arthritis sufferers never moan and she proved just that.

Linda was born in 1947 in Nottingham. She was the daughter to Winifred, sister to John, Pat and Terry. Linda married in 1966 to Tony in which they had two lovely daughters Sara and Ruth. Linda worked hard all her life despite her illness and retired around 1990.
Linda’s life was enhanced later with 6 wonderful Grandchildren Laura, Ryan, Emily, Katey, Evan and Holly, who made her life complete.

Linda fought strongly until the very end showing her determination and strength and has left an enormous irreplaceable gap in many hearts.
We sadly lost her on 7th December 2022 and as a family we would like to thank you all for your kind condolences and support. It's shown just how loved and popular she truly was.

Her strength was unmatched and fought everyday against the disease. Forever resilient, she accepted and lived with the condition and often tried to better her quality of life, resulting in meeting some amazing specialists and carers:

Orthopedic Surgeons:

Mr Holdsworth - Mr T Westbrook

Rheumatoid consultants/nurses:

Sister Cooper/ Tonks - Dr I Pandee

A huge thank you to Quality Care Derby who became friends and dedicated a lot of their time to help Linda and put a smile on her face.
